TAVISTOCK is the sire of 17 stakes-winners, four at Group 1 level, from just 213 runners. His stakes-winning strike rate is more impressive when excluding horses who are currently aged three or under – 16 stakes-winners from 168 runners.

His feature winners include VOLKSTOK’N’BARRELL (Group 1 x 4), WERTHER (Group 1 x 3), TARZINO (Group 1 x 2), TAVAGO (Group 1 x 1) and Singapore horse of the year INFANTRY.

At this year’s Karaka sale his progeny averaged an amazing $177,000 across 62 lots.

BRITISH DAME is a half-sister to Group 2 winner LE BRON & Group 2 placed Queen of Pop. She hails from the same family as VOLKSTOK’N’BARRELL.

She has produced three foals to date who are all winners.

There are just five runners by TAVISTOCK (NZ) out of grand-daughters of STORM CAT (USA). Four are winners including the stakes-winner and multiple Group-placed TAVY.

Another of those winners is the Group-placed DOWNTON ABBEY.
